State Senator Mark Baisley is awarded the Shield and Sword Award at Back the Blue Gala in Douglas County
On Friday, at the Rocky Mountain Voice Back the Blue Bash, State Senator and Republican nominee for United States Senate, Mark Baisley, was awarded the Shield and Sword Award for his work in support of Colorado Law Enforcement.
Throughout his career, Senator Baisley has focused on policies that strengthen law enforcement support and hold offenders accountable. His measured approach comes from a belief that communities who prosper are ones that are safe. This includes properly equipping and training law enforcement partners. Senator Baisley shared the following remarks after receiving this recognition.
“It is an honor to be recognized for my support of law enforcement in Colorado. We entrust our law enforcement partners with the power to defend our liberties and expect them to perform in the most honorable of ways that make our communities proud of them. Ensuring that they have the tools and opportunities to appropriately exercise their duties is a responsibility of every elected official.”
